Yug
I would love it if Airfix made a Dioram of Pegusus Bridge. They are on the market for £295 so I would have thought that in a plastic kit form they could be made more affordable. Maybe on a smaller scale with a Horsa
Kenneth ONeill
Well, it was a a slightly smaller fixed span, but Airfix did used to do a 1/76 (OO) scale kit of a girder bridge in the old series 3, so the price shouldn't be that unreasonable if the bankworks were done in vacform or blow-moulded vinyl rather than injection or resin casting. As to populating the diorama, there are certainly "normal" British and German WW2 figures who could supply Major Howard's forces and the German defenders. I'm less certain if Airfix have done suitable figures for the relief force from the Lovat Scouts, particularly for the piper correctly portrayed in "The Longest Day". ironsides
There is a Pegasus bridge available as a 20mm dia-cut pre painted kit nominally 1/72 and it looks really good for 124 squids...
