Sport track/digital track pieces

3 pieces I would want to see are:

a)  return of the C7009/C7010 in to out curved lane changers as 2-piece (cut in half) so a racing line track can be made by swapping the ends (the other CLCs C7007/C7008 are not useful for this purpose so not needed.... one can reverse the flippers on the C7009/C7010 to make them if required) ... the patterns are there, just a slight mod to the wiring to work with ARC Pro.

b)  a new Sport track version of the PT82 Classic straight lane crossover .... needed for creating dual lane pit lanes since the C7036 is "clumsy" (must press lane change to enter/exit) when stopping to pit and drive off from 2 or more pit bays.  It is enough to select the first or second bay once in the pits but to have to select again when this could be more easily done using a straight crossover like the PT82 but in Sport design with the deeper slot..... again, the patterns are there so no "new" development work.

Any other pieces you would like to see?

While you can never say never offering the curve would require either modifying it so that it works with all version of the ARC PRO pwoerbase or somehow offering an upgrade kit for the older ARC PROs to make them compatible, neither of which is cheap.

When things are financially tight you have to make hard decisions so I while I would never say never it does not seem likely any time soon.

Regarding the straight corss over: The rationale of the curved cross over is you have to slow down in a curve anyway so you are less likely to have a massive crash in the curve. Putting the cross over on a straight means people are likely going full blast and there will horrible crashes.

This of course doesn't mean I don't think there should be one but it would require new tooling and manufacturing which is again, not cheap...

But as above... never say never..

The great, easy, original slot forum mod of curved changers made 2 separate lanes of power for digital and analog and was accomplished with a couple simple  snips.

Straight cross overs are one of the greatest drivers of having to buy new cars since parts seem to be harder to find but the demo derby + crossing are even better for wreaks

.

As for pitlanes, am sure that mobs of people want them for that purpose and it would become a top seller, but will pass since straight dual changers can serve that same function.

Then back in the beginning, when the curved lane changes were only thing available, found the in to out to be the most troublesome piece so tried to build tracks using only out to in and also used the curved crossovers more.

Now do not use either curved changers or crossovers.

What would like to see with all digital changers , including pitlanes , in the future is a access port to allow easy connecting to off track power.

Scaly could make money off the upgrade, the power supply, and the connecting wires , and we would get more reliable, constant power for the cars

.

  WIN WIN
