I am having difficulty finding decent images though. I think there might be a S.C.Ruffey with a darkish red chassis, which is acting as rust, that came in R9091 exclusively, I do believe. I don't want to look for this triple pack to buy one and buy it if there isn't a difference to the two S.C.Ruffey's I have.

/media/tinymce_upload/bc80c15c89e10a008dad7aebc093bf7b.JPGHi, Differences of the S.C.Ruffey wagon.

There are two types of box for R9068. Photos show the ends are different.

The wagons can be split into two different types, R9068 & R9091 are same.It can be seen from the photos that these two early batches have a difference in the brown colours between the chassis and the metal uprights of the wagon.

The later two R9706 & R9301, the  brown colour match is much better.

1st. Photo, shows different boxes, 2 x R9068 at top, next down R9091, Next R9301, Bottom R9706.

2nd. Photo,  two different R9068 box ends.

3rd. Photo,  top shelf, 2 x R9068, Bottom left to right R9091, R9301 & R9706.

4th. Photo, left early wagons, right late wagons, hopefully photos show differences of rthe brown colours./media/tinymce_upload/597c42406d8025b5dc3c89b4535868c9.JPG/media/tinymce_upload/dea3f536f34ddbf628816af8b5898c73.JPG/media/tinymce_upload/7f41e85e77f08d264b4fe57b659963e1.JPG/media/tinymce_upload/a056991c334f64ec3caee04df3dd8c4b.JPG

Thank you for your images, new lad on block.  😀

So there is no difference to R9068 S.C.Ruffey and the S.C.Ruffey inside of R9001? Other images I have seen on the Internet, says to me that the S.C.Ruffey inside of R9091 has dark red chassis colour, but this could be camera photo fault?

I do know that the most S.C.Ruffey, from R9301 Wagon Triple Pack B released in 2015, has the copyright year and other information printed on his chassis. I have this version, in fact three of them, as I have x3 R9301's. I will eventually be selling two of the 2015 S.C.Ruffey's. Will keep x1 2015 S.C.Ruffey. I bought three of this pack, to get three of each of the Red Open Wagon, with the orangey red livery (R9234 from 2006 had a darker red and another three Light Blue Open Wagon's.

I now have the complete 2015 and 2016 Hornby Thomas range, in the quantities that I wanted.

new lad on block, just one more thing. You appear to have got your R9301 Wagon Triple Pack B mixed up. If you are like me and you want to put the wagon back in the same place in the box, then it goes like this, looking at the box from the front, left to right:

S.C.Ruffey Wagon > Red Open Wagon > Light Blue Open Wagon
