RB51
Seems reasonable £9 for the box and £2 for p&p. Am I mis-reading something? R-
The Doc
I think maybe Eric means that you may have been put off by the RRP of £21.99, hence "silly-expensive"? Mind you, lots of newly tooled wagons seem to be highly detailed these days, hence there has been a hike in prices. £9 is indeed good value for this wagon. walkingthedog
They are lovely wagons. I have some and got them at a knocked down price a year or so ago.
VESPA
I bought another one of these last weekend from Hattons @£9 and complimented it with a set of 4 Bachmann horseboxes from TMC at the reduced price of £40.25 a pair. 2x green southern BR and 2x BR Midland red. These are similar to the old Hornby Dublo and Wrenn versions and are very nice.

Ruffnut Thorston
Trackmaster only made the closed van, the open wagon, and the open wagon with a plastic coal load. Some were made with Hornby Dublo (PECO) couplings, instead of the Trackmaster type coupling. They also made a clockwork locomotive, similar to the Hornby Dublo 0-6-2 tank loco. With cast metal track, that was the Pyramid toys Trackmaster range. Yes, the Trackmaster models were taken into the Tri-ang Railways range, after being modified to take the Tri-ang type coupling. The Tri-ang Railways Horsebox was a long wheelbase model, seemingly based on a GWR design. It was made from the later 1950s until quite recently... But the model being discussed by here is a new model, only a few years old tooling!
