Andy P.
When you say "digital plugs saloon cars" do you mean the C7006 ?If so, are you sure you soldered them in correctly?
gorp
Think he is writing about 8515 dpr chip .

gorp
Would be nice to know if they ever worked right. When car runs away or will not run here , #1 cause is round guide is not in place properly, leads broken at guide, or brushes not touching rails. Not running also needs to be re id-ed. steven_robinson
Sorry they are the c2817 so no soldering needed just plug in. how do you re-id them?
gorp
The 2817 honda f1 with a 8516 f1 dpr chip , is not a saloon car.Had one and thought it came with soldered in 7005 chip, but sold it off long ago. How to re-id depends on which digital powerbase you own.Should be plenty of help here for latest arc and at slotracer.online and slotforum, digital, scaly. Also there shoud have been a manual that came with track/powerbase. Andy P.
When trouble shooting, expecially with digital you have to go ahead methodically and figure out what works and what doesn't.1. Do the cars work in analog mode without the chips?2. Do the cars work in analog mode with the chips?3. Do the chips work in some cars and not in others?4. Are there any phsical signs of damage (use a magnifying glass to see if something is brunt out)5. If the cars work in analog mode you likely have to re-ID them. As gorp says, that depends on your system. If after all of that they still don't work they chips are likely damaged. There is a user on slotracer.online and slotforum.com called GregK that can repair chips.
