Calypso
No manufacturer seems to have produced a model of this worthy Merchant Aircraft Carrier (MAC) ship, converted from grain carriers, and named Empire MacAlpine, Empire Mackendrick, and so on. These ships, bearing 4 Swordfish each, were instrumental in defending Atlantic convoys, and make for an unusual and interesting subject!! Here's a 1/6th model at the Greenwich maritime museum../media/tinymce_upload/52ea261c39a0961157856bb6b0431014.jpg
Ratch
I'd like one (or more) in 1/600.
peebeep
I've seen escort carriers in 1/700 and 1/350 but no MACs in any scale, although this is the sort of thing you might see from the resin manufacturers.

Splash846
It would be nice to see more 1/600 ships and a ship like that would be most welcome

Sailorman
This is HMS Audacity built on the Captured German Merchant ship Hannover as it appears in the publication The World War II Warship Guide - Silverdale Books. I've often thought of scratchbuilding her myself. It should be a very simple build using plastic card and would be a great addition to the other 1:600 Airfix ships.
