A00748V USAAF Personnel

I'm starting out on some new figures, with new paint, my first foray into acrylics. I've picked an example of all the figures and a bomb and trolley, firstly priming them with Valejo black polyurethane primer. I doubt this will be a blow by blow, but I will try and give some updates and thoughts as I progress.

It's a good set - try turning your pics.

Dangit - pretty sure they started right side up. I've had a fun day, learned on acrylics, this is day 1, so very green. I used a wet palette, dry one, and ran a wash over the flesh colours as well as many layers. I'm still waiting for the other half of my paints to arrive!

Mostly Airfix figures.

These were painted using Vallejo black gloss primer, AK Interactive paint for the clothing. Model Master flesh and Tamiya black wash.

The aircraft is Academy with Quickboost engine cowlings. Painted with Alclad polished aluminum and Tru Color blue. The decals are Super Scale.

One advantage of binge building is the models get a little better with each one. The metal finishes are difficult...
