Trevwoody Posted January 4, 2022 Share Posted January 4, 2022 Sorry to say this is the way of the world currently. Just about everything has gone up in price everywhere, not just from here. One of the major hidden costs is for the shipping container transport costs. These have quadrupled over the course of the past year and we can't expect manufacturers and retailers to bear these costs forever. I'd much rather all of these goods were being made in the UK but the reality is that most manufacturing is done offshore now. Over time (hopefully this year), these costs will come down again. And don't forget, there are plenty of opportunities to buy from and support other model shops which often offer discount off RRP. Use them or lose them.
