I see yet another John has joined the forum. I don't know how many that makes but it's getting confusing. And some don't seem to be taking any notice of requests to change their nickname.

The search facility we have only lists the first 50, coupled to the fact if a nickname is not chosen then the system applies the first thing it sees. As DS says in his request for change, we have asked for a unique nickname to be made mandatory as part of the initial forum registration process. Still work in progress with no way even then of catching previously registered common names.
