Tristan-350311 Posted April 13, 2022 Share Posted April 13, 2022 I know what all of you are thinking, however, I recently just got back into the hobby, and one of my favourite WW2 bombers of all time is the Avro Shackleton. I know Airfix used to do one but I wish they would bring it back because I can't find any of them for a reasonable price. The cheapest I could find was 60 pounds. I think it's just a question of when, not if either, or both the MR2 and AEW2 are re-issued. You can pick them up on eBay for about £40-45, I very much doubt a re-issue would be less than that. There was a time when the only option was the mightily rivetted Frog/Frog spawn MR3, or tricky vac-forms. Now we have an embarrassment of riches with four recent new tooled kits.
