My Bedford Mk.4 (1:76). It`s an 2008 Airfix Model, but the Model is originally from JB Models.

This is easily to build. Hope it returns to the Airfix range .

I do not know exactly. I build it some time ago. But I thnk it was "chieftain green" from WarPaint.

You right,

for the Bedford RL I had used a cab from Road Transport Images (RTI).

I used this conversion for an airfield tanker too:

The RL is fine looking vehicle, I hope Airfix produce a kit of it soon, preferably in 1/72. I assume all the models on the page are your work Matthias. There are impressive ones there, the Stalwart looks particularly good.

The Stalwart comes from ACE, not easy to build.

But with the 1:76 Airfix kits you have lot of possibilities for new models with RTI cab, like the AEC Mammouth Major 6 MK III Royal Navy refueller:

Very nicely done. I built this when it was a JB kit.

Hopefully Airfix will release the JB range again especially the Stalwart.

The JB line was nice, but the Stalwart (and the Saracen, Salamander and Saladin) are ACE kits.

But I hope that Airfix make other nice kits in 2023.

Kits of Saracen and Saladin were issued by JB models and then by Airfix, but not the Stalwart. I remember that Airfix did issue a Stalwart in their old Poly range many years ago, along with an FV432 carrier, Abbott SP gun and Bedford RL truck, unfortunately that's where their interest in the vehicles ended. Pity that, because they're all neglected subjects.

You are absolutely right. The JB series is in 1:76 scale and the ACE kits are 1:72.

If that's the Poly kit of the Antar you've made a good job of finishing it. I think this is the first time I've seen one of the old Poly kits taken seriously as a modelling subject.
