96RAF
As the decoders are not apparently in the RM database, you could provide details to HRMS per the flag raised in the CV read table, or you could just write blind to any CV.If the decoders are NMRA compliant as claimed by their retailers then they should work without any problems with eLink and RM once setup per any other decoder. P-Henny
Try again, but this time do not touch the green tick in the CV reading / writing screen. Write your CV blind, writing blind means select the CV you want to change by CV number and ignoring any description text assigned to it within this RM screen, enter the new value you want then click the "pen" icon in the bottom left. Do not try to read any CV value at anytime using the green tick.Once the write action has finished, click the red tick to exit this screen and then test the change on the main layout track. If you are trying to write a new DCC Address. Do not use the CV Read/Writing screen AT ALL. Instead use the 'Loco' icon in the bottom row on the 'Locomotive Settings' screen. Why this suggested method?Because clicking the green tick forces Railmaster to try and use the decoder database and this upsets writing CVs to decoders that are not properly registered in it. By ignoring the 'green tick' you are using the CV screen as a generic CV writing applet.
