Fishmanoz
Not a big deal, just to make things a little tidier - given OPs are repeated at the top of every page, I suggest they be kept brief by not including pictures in them. They can then be included in the next post. When the original post is long, it takes up room on every page and lengthens the whole thread.
RB51
In addition the repeat of an image in quoted replies does the same thing. There is some work going on currently to revamp the forum so we can feed this in. R-
96RAF
Good idea. It also means the topic is seen immediately as the pictures are automatically held back in the approval chain. It has been suggested that where a quoted post is long, it appears in an expandable frame within the post. This space saving method can be seen on RM Web Forum, one of its better features.
ellocoloco
Or users could just post the relevant part of the previous post by selecting just the required text rather than quoting everything...................but that might be a bit difficult. RDS
In addition the repeat of an image in quoted replies does the same thing. I always edit out any pictures I come across that have been included in quoted replies.
Fishmanoz
Without meaning to criticise Silver Fox or moawkwrd, today in TT:120 are 2 OPs with long text, unnecessary carriage returns between and under text then 3 pics/diagrams in one case, 4 in the other. They perfectly illustrate what might easily be avoided.
