Steve-353799
Hi I've looked under spec etc but cannot find what height these new semaphore signals are. Why don't Hornby give more info on their products? lol Thanks, Steve
ntpntpntp
Not really an HM7000 DCC question - maybe better in the TT120 section?
Going Spare
'Tech Specs' state 12cm for the single-arm and 17cm for the junction signal.
Moccasin
The heights given coincidentally match those for the OO signals, so Hornby have once again got the website specs wrong. Assume that they’ll be about 8cm and 12cm respectively Edited April 3 by Moccasin
ntpntpntp
@Going Spare yeah I saw those - seems way too tall, those specs are the same as the OO signals (I just checked) .

Signals did vary in height for sighting issues for drivers depending on location, ie; Curvature of line, bridges etc.
Moccasin
Given that the website still has TT120 Mk1s longer than Mk3s after 18 months, I really think it’s another mistake. Hornby just don’t seem particularly bothered about their website being accurate. 12cm would put the single signal at over 14m tall. They don’t look that tall or so out of proportion. Yes signals can be tall for sighting issues, but those examples look very tall and incongruous. The models seem in proportion, given the length of the semaphore arm and the ladders.
