John-357061
I just got the HST TT model with sound fitted. i get the following error One or more problems have been detected. Please reinstall a profile to fix this error. If the issue persists please contact Customer Support. when I try and browse to select the same profile again, the update button is disabled. I even tried a different profile. This is the first one I bought with sound fitted. Do not have this issues where I installed the HM7000 myself. SteveM6
Go to the browse profiles button on the settings page. Select the profile you want to reload and assign it to the decoder during the set up process.
John-357061
That is how it worked when I added the HM7000. This one came with one pre installed. Does not let me install profile after selecting it. Button greyed out.
dBerriff
I had this happen but, from memory (Rob will confirm - or not), Browsing the profiles then you can did let me update or re-install the existing profile. Edited May 8 by dBerriff
John-357061
Right, I select the profile, any one and then the install Locomotive Profile button is still disabled. Does not ask me when linking device. Which makes sense since it is factory installed.
John-357061
Also how do you reset the HM7000?
John-357061
Found a way of doing it. Looks like only works through locomotive settings. So a bug. Loses decoder setting.
Fishmanoz
Yes, it’s a well-known bug that you get around via Settings as Steve suggested to you and you’ve now confirmed that method is still working while an update is pending.
96RAF
10 hours ago, John-357061 said: Also how do you reset the HM7000? You write value 8 to CV8 same as most decoders. The decoder also resets as part of the profile loading proccess, which is why it tends to lose any given dcc address and reverts to 3.
