Forthcoming Meteor

Great news! Although my main focus of interest concentrates on early years of WWII and late 30s, the new Meteor is definitely a model I'll be awaiting with almost the same level of impatience, as I am already waiting for 1/48 Defiant. I hope there will be an option for a silver machine. Surely, it should - something of the same kind as 1952 Coronation Meteors in 1/72.

Now this superb model is released how long before someone makes a MK7-1/2 Martin Baker ejection seat test aircraft Asterix variant.

MK7 and a half you may ask. Yes it was a composite of Mk7 and Mk8 parts and as far as I know it's still flying.

google Martin Baker Asterix for images Or Martin Baker Wiki for the story.

I don't normally buy 48th scale kits but the Meteor may be an exception, especially if it includes the option to make a RAAF version from Korea and/or and Israeli version.

Now if this one gets done in 72nd also, I would probably buy 3 or more.

make it 72 scale I'd buy 3
