T2B
@ 1morebeer Airfix did the Ford Trimotor back in the early/mid 1970 and has been reissued a couple of times. It was a good kit in its day but by todays high standards will be dated. I have got 1 in my stash and it can still be obtained on auction sites. There is an Airfix Classic Airliners issue on sale for £10 (bargain cos some earlier issues want silly money) and being a later issue should have usable decals? Ian Toronto
I'd really like to see a re-issue of the 1/72 Lancaster Mk B.II. Very tough to find on auction sites, and when they do show up, they command quite high prices - indicative of some serious interest in the model. Cheers,Ian

Kenneth ONeill
There are lots of Huey kits on the market, but Airfix have never done one. The question would be whether or not Airfix can bring anything new to the type.

Joff1959
How about a 1/72nd scale Avro Shackleton MR3 to replace the dreadful Frog kit that keeps getting reissued by various companies? Or a 1/24th Scale Hawker Hunter to rival the 1/32nd Scale Revell kit as there are no other large scale alternatives of this beautiful aircraft. dave_gambling
I have read most of the suggestions...and quite a few already exist in the Airfix range....I have been building Airfix kits since the early 1950's (the Fergie Tractor was my first...stuck together with nail polish..!!) So in my twilight years I would like to build the following...1/72 Vampire FB5, Venom NF 11, Sea Venom, Scimitar, Sea Vixen, Javelin FAW1/7/9, Hawk T2 ... (cannot see them re-tooling the Vulcan....but would be appreciated.)1/48 Scimitar, Swift, Vampire FB5, Vampire T11/ Venom NF11/Sea Venom, Buccaneer S2 re-tool, Meteor NF11/12/14, Hunter T7 and of course F-35b.......these modern day Airfix kits pay no resemblance whatsoever to the original 2/- (two shilling/10p) plastic bag kits..and I still have some..!!!
