2e0dtoeric
Has anyone tried one of these to see if they're any good?I've sent for one, but as they come from Hong Kong, it can take a month - -https://hobbyking.com/en_us/dcc-with-21-pin.html
RB51
Looks cheap enough, especially if it comes with the anti-static wrist strap (which I doubt will be the case). Interestingly the ad has a blank for manufacturer ID. Let us know how you get on. R-
2e0dtoeric
The decoder has arrived - complete with anti-static strap, in a little ( 24 oxo cube size) white box, and very uninformative Chinese instructions!Manufacturer's name on the box is CMR Line. Scattered amongst the pictograms are little gems like NRMA compliant, 16Vac, 20Vdc, 1.4 amps, so it should work.Photos and live test to follow. 96RAF
Compliant as opposed to NMRA warranted, world of difference.Rob

96RAF
Take it down the local chinese nosh shop ask them what the associated headers say, but the spec looks reasonable.Rob
Chrissaf
Now that is going to be a bit of a challange (for HRMS) when RailMaster raises a pop-up asking the user to send HRMS a copy of the decoder manual when it isn't recognised in RM. 😆
96RAF
The description fills a few gaps. Note CV29 range, so no long addressing. Speed of light seems a bit slow. Should be 186,000 miles per second.Rob /media/tinymce_upload/77df4a8247e06bd50fbd63fb4f0b2428.png
2e0dtoeric
Take it down the local chinese nosh shop - - it probably says - "Give this (word deleted) two gallons of noodles and a bag of prawn crackers) !
Fishmanoz
Comes with wrist strap and a voucher for noodles and prawn crackers - bargain!
