Roket Paper Glue

Building the grandson a card engine shed from a kit, have been using Roket paper glue but have run out. Having difficulty finding any local & Amazon is 7 days delivery, is there another suitable alternative?

Try your local craft shop or just use genersl purpose UHU. Most Tesco have a wide range of glues in the stationary aisle.

Tried looking for craftshops but they seem few 7 far between, will go to Tesco tomorrow

I did think of that, but this stuff is instant stick or at least very nearly makes things a bit quicker

The Range, Homebase, Wilko, Poundshops, etc. I get my big tubes of UHU from Poundland.

Instant stick isn't always good. I realise PVA joints need holding together with bulldog clips or pegs but it does give time for adjustment, and will not come unstuck later. UHU is also excellent. I use both on my buildings.

Have you thought about Deluxe Speed Bond? I used it on all of my card kits - it's as good, if not better than Rocket Card Glue.  I bought mine from Hattons - they may have a next day delivery service (you will have to pay for it!).

I searched 'Roket Paper Glue', but the search results found me Roket Card Glue from Deluxe Materials. Is this the glue product you are looking for?

 

If it is, then it appears to be a modeller's glue, so I very much doubt you will find it for sale at stationery shops. It look as if you need to search models shops for it, inside one if you have any nearby you, or on model shop websites. Alternatively, you could look for another type of glue, that other user's have been suggesting to you.

I ordered some off the deluxe materials webstore directly. DHL delivered it next day - that was the Thursday before Xmas

The Deluxe website offers 50ml at £6.65 but UK shipping is £4.10; there's no immediate info stating what delivery service i.e. courier or second class, etc.

 

GNR Gordon; well worth taking a look at the Deluxe website, they have quite an extensive range of glues & other products.

 

PS I use the Roket card glue and prefer it to other options suggested, but each to their own.

That glue seems expensive to me, plus that extra postage cost added on top. Unless you would be placing an order for multiple items with Deluxe Materials, I would rather find it in a shop and save the postage money! 😉  😀

I use wood glue or the cheap PVA from Hobbycraft.

The correct title for this excellent product is Roket Card Glue. It can be purchased diect from cpc.co.uk at £7.01 and has free delivery on orders over £8.00. I use CPC for all manner of items and highly recommend them.

That one will almost certainly be unsuitable. UHU is good though, it's instant and works for card.

When better glues are not available, it's a good alternative.
