Alasdair1707822495
Sorry if already been discussed before but can't find anything in forumI"m looking to customise a red TR7 to British airways rally livery from late 70s.Decals are available or expensive.Bi question is before spending the money.... Is the Scalextric TR7 actually 1/32nd scale or larger. By my reckoning according to dimensions of original cars it would appear to be around 1/27th.Any help or info etc much appreciated. Thanks in advance. A

Kenneth ONeill
1) No idea what scale the Scalextric model is. Ask nicely in an LMS if you can measure one up maybe?2) As Ratch says above, Airfix did a 1/24 scale kerbside TR7 coupe, which is the right model TR7-8 for your BA project, and even comes with Minilite wheels, which you'll probably want.3) The only other version I can think of other than diecasts is a Revell TR8 convertible in 1/25 scale, which is the wrong body, and came with Weller 8 spoke steel wheels. Andy P.
Responded in the Scalextric forum...As a rule Wikipedia is usually pretty good on measurements.
Captain Triggers
Scaly as a rule is 32nd, unless it's micro
