Do you get reward points for club exclusive items?

Hi everyone, can anyone tell me if when purchasing club exclusive items whether or not they are eligible for reward points? I recently purchase the club standard 2MT and it does not show in my pending points list.

Yes you do, they might take a short while to show but I would have thought they would show instantly.

They should appear as pending straight away unless you had only just signed up to the club. I would email customer services to get them added.

I have the R30130 Thane of Fife which was when it was released, a Club Exclusive, but having checked again, it's now available to order by non Club members. I got Reward Points for that.

I have the R30283 Coronation Class "Coronation" that was also a Club Exclusive (and still is) and I also received points for that.

The pending points should be added to the list as soon as the purchase is made. As suggested, I'd contact customer support. Their responses can be very slow, but they will get back to you eventually.

it's only slow if you email them. If you phone they are usually very helpful and will probably sort it for you there and then.

From the Rewards Club Ts&Cs.

The points will be added to your Hobby Rewards account at the time of payment. These Points will appear as Pending until the end of our 14-working day return period. Pending points will become active after this time. Should you choose to return any items in your order, the pending points for those items will be withdrawn.

Or if you look under the Collector Club section, Hornby still state Reward Points will be credited after 21 days (although there is an unexplained asterisk immediately following that statement).

Either way, it ain’t immediate.

However if you buy in the Visitor Centre (WonderWorks doesn’t trip off the tongue) and show them your membership card, the points are added the same day.

Incidentally you can redeem points at the counter there as well.

The points for my Collectors Club 2MT were added to my ‘available to spend’ total this morning - 21 days after purchase. And as I said before, purchases in person at the Hornby Visitor Centre are applied the same day as the purchase.
