American brand - even if it probably is manufactured to some extent on another Continent ... hence the Trump part ...

Involved in everything with a '$ sign' on it, discrediting other brands in the process through whatever Trumped up reason - wonder where that phrase came from ... and another ... sorry again!!

Hi,

Thought I'd share this mornings workings at Aberystwyth. A few passenger services, a spot of shunting and of course, some light engine movements.

The morning Cambrian Coast service has arrived in Aberystwyth from Machynlleth, awaiting additional coaches.

Meanwhile, 3206 trundles up to the junction awaiting permission to proceed.

Sister locomotive No.3205 joins 3206 on the shed reception road.

Whilst awaiting permission, Pannier Tank No.8751 can be seen running round the local goods service from Carmarthen, in order for shunting operations to be carried out.

Hello

This is my first attempt at a model railway layout. It was designed as a small siding with the Inglebrook puzzle idea. I have learn't a lot from this and am now about to start a larger layout.

I had a hell of a lot of advice for which I am grateful.

After seeing that ginormous layout in Spain, may I offer pictures of a more humble DC layout-in-progress.  😳   Gradually expanding and (hopefully) improving and will later include a couple of gradients. (Yes, Jimy, I got hold of 2 sets of 7 Hornby risers. Thanks for the tip).  Controls by H&M./media/tinymce_upload/865f2aedbc82831f7be704cefae86af9.JPG/media/tinymce_upload/f4290de78f938170d51ca8dfbf832754.JPG/media/tinymce_upload/609f732d90f9b65826d2a66100f125ff.JPG/media/tinymce_upload/7b6374e8ee8b58891e1401a2d58ec5ee.JPG

/media/tinymce_upload/e72b52d1757919e1e227130566515e56.JPGThe general shape is in the form of a distorted 'S' running three sides of the room. This allows easy access to most parts without stretching.

As a person of advancing years i had a Dc layout in loft with all scenery etc but wanted DCC .So i sold all my trains etc cleared the baseboard ( i had an N gauge layout as well) and started again.I thought what is easy so i put two loops of DCC  and one loop of Dc so i could run some on the DC trains which i kept.No points etc no scenery i just wanted to run the trains,it took a little time i started off with the Select controller then went to Elite contoller  which i found easier.I can now run 5 trians at once 4 on DCC 1 on DC.I must say i love the DCC wish i had started sooner. The layout can bee seen on you tube Dereks Trains which i would if your are like me not a tecno person an easy way to get into DCC, Good luck to everyone may Hornby keep going for the next 100 years
