LCDR Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Watched this last night, Although these programmes tend to skate over the hours of effort put in by the anonymous team members and concentrate in extremis with the presenter, it was very interesting to watch what was in essence a brand new Spitfire Mark 1 airframe coming together. I was also impressed by the damage a machine gun could do to a BMW, now why couldn't I have one of those fitted to my Ford Focus? :-)I missed the first ten minutes but saw enough I think to get a flavour of the achievment. So work back from that!Did you see Guy Martin in the paper this morning with his Volvo Amazon Estate, which he says does 0-60mph in under 3seconds, and goes on to 205mph.
