  1. Hello All, I would like to see the VW VOLKSWAGEN BUS CAMPER VAN in the samba bus or Deluxe microbus style. That's the one with the skylight windows in the roof. Also has a canvas sunroof. Richard
  2. Dave, I am not sure if they did a re-tool of the 4 1/2 - litre Bentley, Alfa Romeo 8C-2300, Bugatti type 59, Auto Union C type. but here are some photos of the cars /media/tinymce_upload/280abcba50cb95b59a86cced93cfeec0.jpg /media/tinymce_upload/88725babf644e00e0d5f5fcb3ba18a2a.jpg /media/tinymce_upload/8bf5791ffa8fb16b19e718b13541511b.jpg /media/tinymce_upload/7557521362ff76221227cd684d17d25a.jpg I totally agree with the remake of the Aston Martin DBR1. /media/tinymce_upload/60c763cda509efe95c1055e08b40a5b3.jpg I am ready to buy these immediately before production starts. Scalextric can use our advance payments to fund the design and production phase. Richard
  3. Next year Scalextric will be 60 years old. This is what they can give us their loyal customers to celebrate the event. I would like Scalextric to remake the cars from their 1962 Vintage Motor Racing set V3. That is the 4 1/2 - litre Bentleys. Also the Alfa Romeo 8C-2300. I would buy these even before they left the factory! A remake of the Bugatti type 59 and the 1936 Auto Union C type would look beautiful together. Again Scalextric would get my preorder immediately.! Richard
  4. Hello Jason, Have you tried the following sequence. power up the ARC power base go into the settings on your android device and get Bluetooth running and ensure scalextric ARC is recognized. turn Bluetooth off and on again if needed until it sees the ARC device. then start the scalextric app. and skip registration. select a track set from those listed even if there is no match for your layout. do not select other. go on to calibrate even if the cars from the set selected do not exactly match your cars. I hope this keeps the connection up. Richard
  5. Yeah I noticed that too: https://slotcarp.wordpress.com/#Packaging The good thing is, for almost every type of every slot car out there there is a black guide blade out there... The only cars I couldn't get to work were Artin/Cartornic 1:43 cars that are technically only 7.5 volts as well. The app went guano crazy. All other brands worked though... Hello All, I took a black perminant ink marker and shaded the blue guide blade with a good coat of black marker ink. Now it works great at trigering the lap counter. I do not know how long it will last since eventually the normal wear and tear of racing may rub off the coating on the blade. I guess I can always shade it again if and when that happens.
  6. I used an iRULU eXpro android 10" tablet and the app worked. There is a strange observation however. I must select a track from those listed in the app. If not the app stops running when I try to lock a calibration. Once a track is selected, any track, the app functions great. Also I noticed that my older scalextric cars with the blue guide blade did not triger the lap counting ability as it passed the pit box. Once changed to the black guide blade the lap counting worked great. I had originally tried to run the app on my ASUS phone but it kept crashing. Well those are my observations, it may help someone.
