  3. R2328A GWR 0-6-0PT '2759' to keep R2328 '2799' company. It looked sad being the only Class 2721. Catalogues R8109 Hornby 2005 Edition Fifty-one and R8136 2007 Edition Fifty-Three both with price lists.

  5. The message above should have read late March (which took 11 days from order to delivery. The first order from the 20th arrived yesterday after three weeks of placing the initial order. I had put in a variation and it obviously took took awhile to do a new invoice (same price but different item). The main contents being: R2672 CR 0-4-0 R3064 'Smokey Joe' R3169 GWR 4-6-0 'Olton Hall' 4900 Hall Class R9644 x 2 Terrace Townhouse (Unpainted) R9777 Weighbridge Office Other items included two spare motors, County Class Valve Gear Coupling Rods for the 4-4-0 model as I bent the rods on one side when refitting a traction tyre that had come off (don't ask me how!!!), three setsof Ringfield brushes one set with springs, two sets of the tender connectors and plugs and the plug extractor tool.
  6. My second order of late February containing half price Skaledale arrived today: R8711 Cememt Hopper R9755 Low Relief Warehouse R9762 Holiday Coach Access Steps R9774 National Merchant Bank R9784 and R9798 Butterley Extension and Loo Buildings (to go wth other Butterley pieces I have) R9788 Loco Shed Lean-To R9790 Derelict Coaches R9791 Crescent House R9794 Barn Workshop and one more R8247 Accessory Decoder. Now if only the order the week before with a red 'Hall' and other bits and pieces had arrived too! Soon, Grasshopper, soon!
  7. New and still in unopened mailing sleeves: R 3074 The Royal Mail Great British Railways Collection GWR 4-6-0 King Class Loco 'King William IV' and R3075 The Royal Mail Great British Railways Collection” SR 4-6-0 N15 Class Loco 'Sir Mador De La Port' and 2nd hand: 3 x R.486 SR Composites '5117' in exc unboxed 3 x R.242 BR Trestrol Wagons with Two Girder Load 'B901600' in exc boxed
  8. R3105 GWR Castle Class 'Wellington' 5075 (2010 tooling). Running in now. I'm thinking of removing the sound chip and speaker from Clun Castle and putting it into this one. Also DG225004 GWR Ruston Bucyrus 19 - Drag Shovel '1083' and some remote uncouplers.
  9. My cat sometimes clicks my mouse and presses a lot of keys (which i probably why I need a new kyboard)
  10. Fish, would the traditional owners really want this bunch anywhere near their sacred site???
  11. The following items from DCC Concepts: five M series decoder to fit to X.03/04 locos, a pack of mini connectors, soldering iron tip reviver, back2back gauge and a bag of their bus terminal tags.
  12. Back on page 16 I predicted Warley 2015 with a demo layout and on page 20 I said the Saturday. With the announced date changes that would be 28Nov2015.
  13. I wouldn't be surprised that even if the correct batteries were found that it would still work given the propensity for items like this to be damaged by leaking batteries.
  14. Yes, my wife thought so too as was pleased when I told her that the CR was absorbed into the LMS (her choice because of the red, I mean crimson lake). She also likes blue so she got the Gadwell that I posted earlier! Apparently I get all the GWR green grouping locos and she gets the rest, including apple-green. :)
  15. Thanks to my wife's negotiation skill R2610 The Caledonian Ltd Ed Train Pack. Mint in box. DCC ready. Examination of the loco reveals that because of the traction tyres on the large driving wheels pickup is from the front bogie wheels and the last pair of wheels. /media/tinymce_upload/T2eC16V,!zcE9s4g3MMIBSBp!SKrQg~~60_58.JPG Should go well with the other two coaches I have.
  16. Also got R4174C the LNER 61'6' Sleeping Car and the R9732 Rail Over River Bridge (but it's more like Over Creek Bridge). Also some new traction tyres for R.351 Thomas and the GWR 0-4-2T.
  17. R3285TTS LNER 4-6-2 A4 'Gadwall 4469' with TTS Sound. I'm lucky to have gotten one that is free of issues that other TTS owners have reported on receipt of their's. I know it's not a Loksound and does not have the synchronicity of that chip but I'm a happy camper. What has also impressed me is the perfect slow running at the very first test found out by accident as I had not returned the controller to zero and saw the model crawling off down the track as I played with the sounds. Very happy. Bought for my lady as she liked the Royal Scot Train Pack after our visit to the UK in 2012. It will get her more involved in building 'the big(ger)' layout.
  18. Hmm, I said Wall-ee, I mean, Warley next year. Isn't that over two days? Which one would Hornby use to make this announcement? The first or second day? Surely the first day? To all listers, All the best for the New Year and may all your delayed parcels arrive on Monday as I hope my wife's Gadwell does!
  19. Arrived today in a huge Royal Mail sorting bag! Akins, Beard & Tourret: GWR Goods Wagons - A Historical Survey, 3rd ed., 1998.
  20. Oo, oo, I think I know what he wants to do! Some of those cameo things like the welder. Program it so it only comes on for a few seconds and then after a suitable time period comes on again so that the nuisance thing isn't on all the time distracting a viewer from the next 'look-at-me' programmed event. Then maybe a crane lifts up and then after a while when people are looking at something else they then see the crane bringing something down instead of crane goes up. Crane goes down. Crane goes up. Crane goes ... etc
  21. I'd hazard a guess that that they would be okay.
