  1. Heat shrink is a bit shiny and tends to go a bit hard once shrunk. I reckon tyres from another loco would fit. Problem is finding the right ones.
  2. Even out of stock on ebay which is unusual. I wonder if another type will fit.
  3. Jacob if you buy a loco and post it on here several might think thatโ€™s nice I think I'll get one. The magazine you bought today has more than likely been purchased by a large majority on this forum some 3 weeks ago. Still you carry on, I know you will. ๐Ÿ˜†
  4. Sorry disagree Jacob. Itโ€™s a magazine. If we all posted each time we bought a magazine about railways the forum would explode. ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†
  5. Are we going to post each time we buy a magazine or newspaper? Surely this section is for model railway products and perhaps books.
  6. We are talking about the GWR, not one of the minor companies. ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†
  7. Al, do you mean the darts. Why did you need to mask anything, just use a very small brush.
  8. I think it is quite a convoluted process BB. Why not get brass nuts, bolts and washers. If the DIY shops donโ€™t have them, I think they will, Amazon has them.
  9. Hello Vespa nice to see you. It isnโ€™t just model shops that are disappearing, itโ€™s all types. The way we live has changed, it always has done. Thank heavens in many cases.
  10. Although visiting a local model shop is very nice, I am amazed at the number of posts on forums that say "the man at my local shop said......" and the advice given is absolute rubbish. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  11. You are very fortunate to have such shops on your doorstep. ๐Ÿ˜€
  12. Maybe itโ€™s because you appear to be concentrating at a particular market M-R, Iโ€™m sure youโ€™ll get customers.
  13. You should try and get some etched brass wind deflectors, they make a huge difference.
  14. Ah, you donโ€™t get tabs on an iPad. I guess if you make lots of typing errors 6 days comes in useful. ๐Ÿ˜† Trouble is if you alter something days later it could be too late. Somebody may have already taken your advice and regretted it.
  15. It was 10 minutes. Thatโ€™s a long time. ๐Ÿ˜€ How can you keep editing your posts. I thought there was a 10 minute time limit?
  16. Chrissaf I think you should have stated Peco Streamline is completely different to Hornby. Peco setrack is the same as Hornby. Edit. Have you changed your post? Edit again. Yes you did. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  17. Would have thought X7125 were the older version but it appears not to be the case.
  18. X8030 is on the Ringfield service sheet.
  19. Looks to be two tender drive Gordons with different part number tyres. Pretty sure they are the same size though.
  20. Ah I see now. Which Gordon do you have.
  21. According to the service sheet you need X8030. Available from Hornby. Where did you get X7125 from.
