Received mine yesterday outstanding kit look forward to clearing me bench for it I was lucky enough to get the poster as well

My txt never came through she turned out ok all things considered few missing clear parts in the end the fuselage was badly warped but I managed to get it in to some form of useable.The decals could have done with some micro set but the moulded well just a small split here and there,some were very discoloured/whiting after lifting of the backing sheet I did re wash some turned out better than others.Overall a nice 40yr kit shame it too so long to get on me bench to get it done

Nice job my effort went for battle worn look

I tried to airbrush humbrol acrylics in the past when I was very new to airbrushing I quickly learnt they to much fuss for me if I got the correct consistency it dried way to quick even with flow improver/retardant so tried Vallejo model air an haven’t looked back no thinning no fuss no bad smells easy to clean up

I’ve pre ordered the 1/24 spit it looks amazingly detailed

I’ve just been given this exact kit some quite warped fuselage to be dealt with am giving for the main box image

I think the decals make a real difference good touch there ratch nice job 👍🏻

There not many by me nearest I can think of would be Hattons which was a 5 min drive now more like 20 at least,last time I went I took over a hour to purchase a few enamel tinlets. Nice staff but more interested in train/locos tbh as some are worth much more than I spend on kits year. So like many others I’m forced to shop online as you always get what you want it’s easy an convenient we’re all adding to the demise of actually walking in to any shop.

Gonville bromhead as depicted by Michael Caine in Zulu resin main figure with metal /lead saber,pistol and strappings for saber sheath all painted with Vallejo model colour and hairy sticks will post a few more pic if this attempts works

Tbh airfix IMO have the best 1/72 aircraft and at least as good as 1/48 as anyone out there I’ve not done a 1/24 but have done a couple of revell at 1/32 witch are superb kits
