I have the Accurascale Deltic fitted with the 21 pin sound decoder. It runs and sounds good, but the decoder can't access all the lighting features.

I have fitted the Dublo present day Scotsman, initially with the A1/A3 Flying Scotsman profile, but after discovering that that one has the second whistle and bell for the US tour Scotsman, switched to the basic A1/A3 profile. I used the second largest speaker housing, no power bank. That fit perfectly. I also fitted the Accurascale Deltic, using the largest speaker housing, and it all works perfectly. Only issue is that the HM7000 decoder can't access the hallway light on the Accurascale model, which isn't a big deal with me. All the other functions still work. Now that I know that they gave us a profile made for the US tour Scotsman, I will be fitting mine (I have the slightly older 2013 model that came with the observation car).

There is a sound profile for the USA Tour Scotsman. Whistle 1 will blow the Gresley whistle; and Whistle 2 will either switch on the bell when the engine is not moving or blow the American style whistle. Sounds are awesome. Blows TTS out of the water. Product code in the profile list displays a Late BR Scotsman, code SD040

I just tested mine with a Railpower 1370 analog controller, and that works without issue.

I have always been using small screwdriver with a flat head to remove them. Never had issues before. It was less of my meddling and more of random in-box accident (I keep all my engines in their original box when not running)

Thanks to you guys and your guidance, I found an equivalent spare, which is now on order. Thank you all for your help and direction! Union of South Africa shall ride again!

Since the necessary replacement part is out of stock everywhere, is it possible to solder the wires back into the plug if I use a very fine tip on my iron?

One of my Hornby A4s has two of the wires going to the tender plug loose, and thus does not run. What is the best way to reinstall these wires?
