  1. Aye, bit of a Spinal Tap Stonehenge moment there! Pre-recorded is definitely the way to go for the announcements though, sorted out all the tech problems before they hit record. Hopefully the live Q&A will have decent sound too though from what they learned last time.
  2. It's a different video, but it will be on the same Hornby YouTube channel.
  3. The signals have been put in the 'Track Pieces' section instead of 'Buildings and Signals' (make sure you've got the 'in stock' filter off)
  4. Probably got distracted thinking 'just one more thing...'
  5. That's my HST converted to run with Hunt magnetic couplings, so far so good. I've not had an issue since I put them on this evening. I'm also going to put them onto my freight train in the goods yard. I've no issue with the Hornby couplings on them other than them not always coupling on curves, and I've a couple of tight R1 sections in the freight yard. They're definitely an upgrade on the Peco wagon couplings, which were the only let down on them.
  6. I missed all the drama, but doubt I'd have been offended anyway.
  7. I think I've missed something here, guessing there was a post taken down after I put mine up. Should have realised the automod would misinterpret the gardening
  8. I really must get some weed killer down on the freight yard...
  9. I'm happy to hear about anything 1:120 here. I don't know if that loco in particular is something that would suit my railway but I'm happy to see you posting about it to let us know 🙂
  10. Did the social media posts not say it was a one-off? I wasn't getting the impression it was even something they were actually putting into production, just something they'd done to tie in to the 40th anniversary of the show?
  11. Made them myself. Found some textures online that worked for a wooden frame, then the posters themselves are a mix of things found on google (like the R.E.M. tour poster) and album cover art by my band and friend's bands. There's even one for a 'Monsters Of Rock' gig graffitied 'in church hall if wet...' for a Half Man Half Biscuit reference!
  12. A wee video with the Metcalfe Models Ramshackle Workshop in place, and a wee bit of Gronk action in the goods yard
  13. With the Mk3 I got the other day that wouldn't couple at first, I found eventually that just turning it around it coupled up ok the other way. I've got Hunt magnetics due to arrive over the weekend, I'll report back when I've had a chance to try them out.
  14. That's just Ernest of E. Brumfitt and Son locking up for the night. Son left early for the R.E.M. gig advertised on the poster by the workshop and left him to it 😂 (Going by the poster, that would be the 1998 Up tour, at which time my dad and grandpa did work as picture framers in a workshop a bit like that, and I did help out on a Saturday job from time to time, and did go to that R.E.M. tour at the Stirling Castle date. Love how much personal history you can work into a model railway!)
  15. Could be worse, could be Larkhall. They don't tolerate anything green there...
  16. Nothing I'm not used to playing in Glasgow 😂
  17. Ernest Brumfitt locks up the workshop for the night as the last freight leaves the yard...
  18. Thanks everyone. I've just ordered the starter pack of mixed length Hunt magnetic couplings, will see how I get on with them.
  19. What is the problem with the Intercity 125 Mk3 coach couplers? I've just got a new one today that will not stay joined to the rake no matter what I do. I've seen a few other people comment on problems getting them together. Does anyone have any trouble shooting suggestions?
  20. They look brilliant, love the colours!
