  1. try this link https://uk.hornby.com/new-2024/new-hornby-tt120?langPath=hornby-uk&filters[mandatory_filter_by][product_group]=Hornby New TT120&page_id=142853&sort-by=8&page=1
  2. It was short, but worth noting is that every product announced today is expected in 2024! I'm happy!
  3. Ha, I wanted to post about it too! He is one of my favourite YouTubers, I've learned a lot from this guy!
  4. That's the weathering I aspire to achieve (once this fear of destroying expensive loco with weathering is gone), really nice job, not too grubby, just used. And I agree that from what I saw slight weathering can highlight some details not seen on clean model!
  5. And here are some images. I especially love those additional GWR decals.
  6. I just got mine, such beauty!
  7. That's true, my HST has the same problem. I had yet no chance to check in detail why is it happening, but it is triggering my perfectionism!
  8. Mine just arrived 😸 love from the first sight!
  9. Very good point regarding Tillig points! The only thing worth remembering is (as I learned) that their points are without spring mounted into the mechanism, so they need latching point motors. Otherwise they fit perfectly with track system from Hornby!
  10. Oh yes, but unfortunately in my case it was necessary to place those points next to the edge. But I agree, it was real pain in the back! I used those small track aligners from Model Tech. They are essentially beginner friendly versions of what you did 96RAF.
  11. For me the biggest issue was to make sure that all track pieces were aligned with each other across baseboards AND with edges of baseboards. You can notice that I have 3 points just on the joint between two halves. Even with track aligners it was one of the biggest headaches. And of course making sure that electric connectivity was spot on for short wheelbase locomotives! I still have some issues (especially on double slip) with class 08 but once 6 pin decoders are available (together with power banks) there will be no problems (longer locomotives have no problem with traversing all layout)!
  12. @MoccasinPotentially in the future (once more space is available) one track will be going to fiddle yard, and the other connecting to the oval (yes, I've spent countless hours in AnyRail planning future expansion even before I finished the layout). But for now it is only as it is. But still it was/is such an adventure! My first proper model railway layout! Of course once HST is released by Hornby I'll start setting up whole oval of tracks once again 😅
  13. Here is another photo, from the very beginning, with two Really Useful Boxes 22l which houses it under my bed. Whole layout gives me just under 150cm of length with 20cm depth. And space under the baseboard is just enough for HM6000/6010 modules!
  14. Thanks guys! @Moccasin yes, those are scale model scenery baseboards, one BB018 baseboard and two BB023 extensions! To be honest I don't know why I wasn't showing it before 😅 I post my progress on Instagram, but not here, silly me!
  15. This is exactly what I'm doing! Whole layout fits in two boxes!
  16. @Moccasin, that's what I thought too. Usually it is just a few days between news about arriving stock and processing of orders
  17. Just noticed that Gaugemaster listed HST swallow as due to arrive imminently. You have to check their news page to see it. Exciting times 😁
  18. I own two storage boxes from Feldherr and I can honestly recommend them. Yes, they are pricey but I am really happy with quality. Slots are slightly bigger than stock (partly thanks to smaller loading gauge of British outline, but even for my continental stock slots are bigger) what in my opinion is good, as no detail is destroyed while removing wagons from foam due to too tight fit. I bought those in cardboard boxes, nice and sturdy. There is also no need to buy additional dividers as foam inserts are coming with long loose pieces of foam inside (probably to keep the shape of foam during transport) so you can cut your own from those spare pieces!
  19. @Baz are you sure? I can see them available to pre order. Make sure that website has turned off 'only in stock'
  20. I can confirm that app is again working fine on Android! 🥳
  21. It appears that Hornby changed their minds. They just posted new wallpaper for January!
  22. OP6, the way I understood 96RAF message was that we know already what Hornby's response, therefore it was not helpful or anything (again, about Hornby's response, not your message). I understand nerves, being annoyed etc. But looking for a fight in every place is not helping either. Nobody here on forum is responsible for your woes. There is not even anyone working for Hornby. So why other forum members are getting all this negativity?
  23. While it is annoying thing and I hope it'll be resolved quickly, I can't say I'm let down by Hornby. If not for their TT120 range I wouldn't be in this hobby. If not for their ingenious use of Bluetooth I'd probably stick to simplest oval as layout (removing need for extensive wiring for switches, CDUs, and even more with DCC). So far their customer service was always pleasure to deal with. All in all this are only scale model trains. It is not the end of the world when they are not working. Anyway, let's hope for quick resolve and have a nice day!
  24. So it seems I have the same problem. App is not connecting to provisioned device. All permissions granted, as it was before. After factory reset on HM6000 module and unlinking it from the app, every time I try to scan for devices the app is closing to home screen of my phone. Curiously after switching from mesh mode to BLE app is able to start scanning, but isn't finding device... I have Google Pixel 6 pro, with newest Android version. I guess no trains for me for today 🤷
