I had 2 era 7 HSTs fail straight out of the box, 1st motor just spun, the 2nd ran very slowly and the era 8 one has also failed in the same way as the others and been sent back for repair.

The LMS brake coach has been put back a year according to the website, now Spring 2025 (31-05-25). The other coaches are still Spring 2024 (17-05-24) and the Loco is still Summer 2024 (30-06-24) for DC version. I wonder if its due to the issues that have been reported, the brake is a smaller coach than the passengers.

I’m famous then again I do have a star on Hollywood walk of fame 🤣. Also a nice way to give some lime light to a topic which is to our advantage.

I’ve added the 3 BR gray to the BR blue preorder. Both should fit with the class 50 in BR blue and class 37 when eventually released.

What’s the width and depth of them. I have the others but not sure if these will fit my layout.

I noticed, fingers crossed they don't drop back further.

Thanks to everyone that has voted so far, I know we're only a small portion of the TT user base but at least it can give some kind of feel for what folk want. Even with the small cross section its obvious that some sort of era 7 version should be released along with an era 6 Green and a later era freight version.

Both the Mk2f coaches (era 7&8) and Class 50 (DC & DCC) meta data are showing 17th May 24 for release, these date of course can and do change.

They also said no livery has been decided at this point. Hopefully they add an era 7 Blue in there

I've seen a few comments about different liveries for the upcoming Class 37 and thought I'd make a post to get them in one place. Hopefully Hornby may see this and get an idea on what people are after seeing as in the announcement they said no liveries had been decided yet.

I’ve pre ordered the blue 2f as they should be released around same time as class 50.

Yeah, I haven't put any coaches on it yet. In fact I've boxed it back up waiting for the returns number.

I have the DC version running on a DC loop.

So an update! After a delay due to easter bank holidays I finally got my replacement Blue/Yellow HST. Yay!! Good News - This one actually moves and doesn't just sit there with the engine spinning 😁 Bad News - Its slow. I have run in 30 mins each direction and with just the power car and dummy it is crawling at 50% power. My Mallard and Flying Scotsman with 4 pullman coaches attached are not just lapping it, they are belting past it at the same power setting. I've emailed CS back and asked for another returns for a refund this time. I guess I was never meant to have the Blue / Yellow HST in 1984 (too expensive for my £2 a week pocket money) and in 2024 (technical fault)! I wonder if its an ex-virgin trains HST.... Rails is only 20ish mins away so might pop to their shop and see if they have any working ones in stock.

I've order the Pub, bungalow and Church. Get drunk, go home and pray you're not dying the following day.... I will probably order some of the others later on (as a tag on to other orders).

some say... He only knows two facts about TT:120 and both of them are wrong, and Locomotion Motion is his identical twin who is only 3ft tall.... Seriously I hope he covers the announcement better and with more impartiality than his last TT video. Up till then I found his videos quite informative.

This is something that annoys me about Hornby. I do understand that they have to allocate new stock to production runs but they need to keep basic things in the catalogue. I restarted the hobby again in January after about 35+ years and found that the lack of coaches and loco's for different era's frustrating. This was one of the many reasons I chose TT, they had the popular models and corresponding coaches either in stock or released soon. To me as a new starter the OO range feels like a mess because of this. I can see why you can't pre-order an item out of stock, you don't have to pay anything and Hornby can see what to prioritise when it comes to the production runs.

Class 50s no longer showing as pre-order from the main TT Loco screen, they do show pre-order when you click on them. This includes the 'spring 2025' GBRf livery. I suspect this is a web site error rather than a sign they are about to be released. It would however be amazing *if* they did get an early release.

That's good, also the class 66s moved forward a month to 30th Oct.

Have the princess on pre-order with coaches. I hope the details are as good as the HST and Mk3s. Looking forward to April too.

Same issue. Seems to be same coaches decoupling around same place. Can do many loops alright before letting go. I’ve swapped out the couplers but still happens. I have been thinking of getting the magnetic ones as I find the Hornby ones too fiddly for my eye sight and clumsy fingers!

It would make more sense to have the Mk3s release sooner rather than later and then the Mk2s release with the Class 50s. It'll be due to stock not arriving due to other world events.
