Puffed Out
I bought one of Rons re-mag kits. Should be with me in about 5 days, touch wood.
ColinB
I found the neo magnets work really well with Wrenn locos, but I bought one to go in my ringfield and found it was a big disappointment. The only thing the ringfield one did was pick up every bit of loose magnet metal around the layout. As I say in the Wrenn they were perfect. I did find with the ringfields the flexible magnet has to be in a certain position.
96RAF
I neo’d a Class 91 with a circular (D-shaped) magnet and it runs nice, but putting arch shaped neo’s (pictured) into a Class 56 was a complete failure - too strong and notchy and the thing would only run on half throttle or more. They are keeping my other magnets company in the drawer./media/tinymce_upload/ca9bb66df891cfdbc285316bc38f483e.JPG
PS56PTS
I bought a Ron Dodds magnetiser about 6 weeks ago and it works very well. He is an approachable man and very helpful. It cost over £100 pounds but it is a lovely piece of work. I used mine this morning when I serviced my 'Albert Hall' Locomotive and it's now running very well...
