NWR-Gordon-4
Ah, so all the 'proper' Airfix kits and x3 of each of the Airfix QUICK BUILD kits = a very large shopping receipt! Let's just hope your wallet is friendly enough, to let you spend all of that! 😆 GNR-Gordon-
Captain Triggers
just buy anything by wing nut wings and you will have an even larger receipt
Sailorman
The receipt doesn't worry me at all ...... It's the actual payment that does! ☹️
NWR-Gordon-4
No, the receipt dosen't worry you itself, but a reciept is given to you as proof of payment and only after you have payed by card or cash, so it sort of does affect it. Captain Triggers
Most things, but mostly your wallet and bank account. 😆
NWR-Gordon-4
I understand what you were talking about now. You would have more of a problem buying those kits, if you are somebody like Arkwright (From Open All Hours), or if you are like Granville (From Still Open All Hours), not wanting to spend a single penny! 😆 GNR-Gordon-

NWR-Gordon-4
He was, but he didn't care about money, like Arkwright did, in Open All Hours. He cares about money in Still Open All Hours, becuase Arkwright has passed away and Granville is following in Arkwright's footsteps, as Granville now owns the shop. John Walker1707819984
Has anyone had trouble getting the front seats to stay attached in the Quick Build Beetle? My Grandson has a blue one and a new yellow one and in both the fit of the seats isn't particulary positive.Have we done something wrong or is it a known problem? StuartN
maybe mineral turpentine or methylated spirits would remove the black marks?
Mr de Havilland
Here is the black marks on the C Pillar, of my Volkswagen Beetle: /media/tinymce_upload/3f0832ba22f4b88a7c20dfb6ea3a2174.jpgWell i know it is a different field but I run a club that customise hotwheels and what we do is is take a tiny bit ultra fine sand paper on the end of a tooth pick smooth out the problem wash in hot soupy water the buff with tooth paste i hope this helps
NWR-Gordon-4
I am very sorry for the late reply, John Walker. 🫨 😳 ☹️ 😉 😀 It was over a year ago when I built my blue Beetle, but I remember correctly, I think I had a bit of trouble fitting the seats in. With several Airfix QUICK BUILD kits, I have had trouble getting the parts to stay together. Thankfully, I have never went to the glue option, as I don't want them to be permantely glued together. Besides, the boxes clearly state that "no glue is needed", so nobody should given have the thought of needing to use it. I am sorry to say this, but the Airfix QUICK BUILD parts, do not go together, like LEGO parts do. GNR-Gordon-
