JeremiahBunyan
The July edition of The Engine Shed is now live. Get a glimpse of the 3D printed samples of the LNER P2s, updated samples of the LNER W1s, painted samples of the Hornby Railroad+ Class 59 and Class 37 and more...https://uk.hornby.com/community/blog-and-news/engine-shed/p2-or-not-p2-question
Engine Shed James
Just wanted to apologise about the Maunsell Dining Saloons not being included despite being alluded to in the introduction and newsletter. We were not able to get the samples off to be photographed in time so they will instead be included in next month's edition.
JimJimJames
It's really great to see the models as the development progresses instead of an announcement just before release that another manufacturer does. The W1 looks to have made a step up in quality compared to previous samples - well done! I have a R3840 in grey on pre-order but it also looks fabulous in Apple Green - very tempting! Do you know, will there be flanged wheels included for the trailing pony?

Do you know, will there be flanged wheels included for the trailing pony? Hi, thanks for your kind comments and sorry about the slow reply. I think the apple green may be my favorite as well! I can confirm all W1 models will be supplied with both flat and flanged wheels, as should all newly designed Hornby models from now on.
david_abramczyk
Personally, I kind of wished that the rebuilt W1's were made so that you could easily add nameplates to them; either British Enterprise for the LNER era model, or Pegasus for the BR model; or even vice versa.
