The latest Workbench blog on the new soon (??) to be released 1/72nd scale Hawker Tempest is showing artwork for packaging and markings available for the first release.

It is certainly looking good and when the kit is available I will build it right out of the box with those markings before looking for markings for other of my favourite Tempest pilots.

Also interesting was the brief early history of RP Beaumont's (Mr Typhoon, Mr Tempest, Mr Canberra, Mr Lightning and Mr TSR-2) career.

Now we will have to wait for the release.
