Captain Triggers
Hi peeps,I'm about to start on the new Eduard 1/48 Camel and was wondering what type of superglue you would recommend I buy for gluing the Photoetch parts and the rigging as I found my rather elderly tube of it dried up (haven't built a kit since March). Up till now I have used just the tube superglue but have found it a bit "blobby". Any suggestions?Triggers.
Kenneth ONeill
Go to your local model shop, and ask for a bottle of thin superglue. This will give you something like a full ounce for the price of 2 1 g tubes of something like Loctite. Don't even think about using is straight from the bottle; decant onto an old ceramic tile or saucer, or a giveway CD, or a piece of plastic sheet, and transfer from there to your part using a cocktail stick. You may also wish to use a white PVA and/or Humbrol Clearfix depending on the parts involved. Captain Triggers
Thank you so much. I will try some clear fix on my seat and if it doesn't work out I'll go and buy a bottle later
