I may have ordered the model two years ago but it has arrived and is 'in stock'.I was looking for the shared experience of forum members as to how long before Hornby start posting out the models. LTSR_NSE Posted March 16, 2023 Share Posted March 16, 2023 My comment was intended to indicate that a status change to the website is completely independent from the processes & logistics involved in despatch & delivery.Every item will have its own timescale (that only warehouse/logistical staff have any knowledge of) - therefore whilst trends/averages may be possible to determine, they will only ever be a rough indicator.Apologies for condensing this into a single light-hearted sentence. I've only ever pre-ordered one item before - Capt Tom's 66 - and that didn't take quite as long. I've already had to call up and get the delivery address changed and am worried the card details I used in 2021 may be wrong now.And I need my 'fix' of new trains...............
