Steve-353799
Hi I'm going to use the Roco Z21 controller and the iTrain programme. If I want to make the loops a block so that means there's 2, (top and bottom) Does that mean I need to use insulated rail joiners on the inner rails? ( 4 insulated rail joiners )I will be fitting them to the inner rails of the points as indicated by the red arrows.ThanksSteve
Rallymatt
This thread is more suited to probably the DCC section of the forum, it’s not especially TT:120 scale related and over there you are more likely to get a range of experienced feedback. 96RAF
There is a guy on RM Web forum (DCC - Computer Control section) who is into iTrain and who may be better placed to answer your question
LTSR_NSE
@steve - I cannot comment on iTrain, however your diagram suggests that you haven’t completely understood what is meant by ‘inner rails’ in the context of points (particularly in preventing frogs causing short circuits.)In the context of points the ‘inner rails’ (internal rails) are the rails that intersect in a V where the point diverges, otherwise known as the frog.(i.e. inside rail of straight & outside rail of curve.)
