MB Slots
Hi - Does anyone know who to contact if you would like some cars made? My company is looking to produce a limited edition car with Scalextric.  Thanks and keep slotting 🙂
Andy P.
Can you be more specific? When you say "produce... with Scalextric" do you just mean a car that is compatible with their system or that you actually want to do some deal with the company?
MB Slots
Hi Pal - thinking of a limited edition car with the company branding? Is that something Scalextric does?? Thanks

LTSR_NSE
So you’re seeking a Scalextric equivalent to the Corgi Premium concept? Possibly the best route would be to email your enquiry to:  marketing@scalextric.com (unless someone else can supply a direct answer)
Andy P.
9 hours ago, MB Slots said: Lol - no. A Scalextric car with my company branding on it?? Thanks OK, Got it. I have had many many conversations with Hornby about branding, licensing etc. (I am not an employee I am a volunteer). If you want a car that actually exists, say a McLaren you will have to get their permission and likely pay licensing. If you choose a car that is fantasy like this one: https://uk.scalextric.com/products/scalextric-joker-inspired-car-c4142 Â you would only need their approval. So basically all you would be paying for is production and tamponing (the livery). I would guess you are looking at 50k to 100k of your favorite currency for the first run alone. That is based on the fact that I saw video of them producing the McLaren P1Â and it cost them nearly 200k just to start production... I could be wrong so as LTSRE says ask Hornby directly...
