It looks like version 3 hardware, so maybe they're trying to empty the shelves to make way for the latest version. It doesn't say which firmware version, but if it's new it should be 1.6. 96RAF Posted April 4, 2022 Share Posted April 4, 2022 The unit illustrated is a pre-face lift (old stock) version with firmware v1.6 according to reviewers.Post face lift version is shinier and loaded with firmware v2.0, which is functionally exactly the same as v1.6 but as the newer Select has a different PIC chip the firmware version tracking is to allow for digression in the future twixt old and new PIC chips.
