Airfix81mode
Does any one know if it sets without mixing it together my problem is the other has dried out I have used it for a model to try it does anyone know. If it would set hard eventually or stay soft. any advice on this would be helpful.
paul71
A two part resin needs both parts to meet ( mixed together ) to cause the chemical reaction to set hard as it should
Frederick Kullas
Is it Milliput?Try soaking the dried up part in a tub with a small amount of water. Lay the tube shape lengthways in a small pot and pour just a little cold water over it. Seal it up and leave for a few days. This may soften it a bit
Kenneth ONeill
Milliput? If so, then it does "go off" eventually, like after a few years with the 2 component putties stored stored in the box together, usually only the first half inch or so. peebeep
What Frederick said. If Milliput develops a crust you can trim it off and use the softer part that's remaining. Usually you can bring it back to life by warming it up with vigorous kneading plus a touch of water, but it does have a shelf life.
