Rob23
A control panel on acrylic for the goods yard/sidings area. I designed it in Adobe Illustrator having never used it before. It's by no means technically perfect, but it's good enough for me. Now to construct the wooden frame!

And yes, 5 arrived last week (2 DFDS, 2 Hapag, 1 Hanjin) to join 4 I picked up from Arnold earlier (2 Maersk, 1 DHL, 1 ONE). They'll look good behind the 66 once released.
Rallymatt
Some very excellent transfers from RailTec. My £55 Leviathan is now ‘50020 Furious’ I have tried the 3D Name plates for the first time and they are absolutely superb, I think I prefer them to etched in this application. They are available as custom items and well priced.
Stephen-1260829
Will we getting YouTube video from High Fell, on the re-livery? I hope so. 🙂
Rallymatt
Not really needed on this one @Stephen-1260829 I lifted the original number and name plate with gentle use of enamel thinners, and popped the decals in place with Humbrol Decalfix. It was pretty similar to renumbering the ESSO TTAs 😁

With the steamers I use Silver Tay nameplates but Railtec 3d smokebox plates. With Diesels they sometimes look better then other times not as good but that is just my opinion, but, they are made to order so readily available within a couple of weeks.

I think! I have had 5 different plates made for diesels and electrics and they are all custom, as are all the loco numbers, steam and diesel. Rallymatt
Oops yes that was a slight error shown in that photo, Revenge were the other name plates! Luckily you get 3 😁 The Name plates are all custom so you decide names, colour etc and there is a small number included. The large logo numbers, again you specify which ones you want. Rallymatt
2 hours ago, DJBDoug said: Are these 3mm transfers from there webpage? There are specific TT:120 sizes covering the range of stuff RailTec do. On main website page, on left there are all the size options and TT:120 will take you to a vast list of things you can get.
Ilmson
Finally back from France from a business trip, I was able to receive my Hornby delivery of the TOUAX container wagons. Once again a clean and successful printing of the low-floor wagons and containers traveling on both sides of the English Channel. I particularly like the cleanly cast car frame made of die-cast zinc. It is nicely detailed and has more than enough weight. Arnold fans already know it as DHL, ONE, and MAERSK versions, and will not be disappointed here either. I particularly like the printing of the Danish shipping company DFDS. The second Duchess is also a beauty again.
Rob23 Posted Wednesday at 15:57 Share Posted Wednesday at 15:57 Today's arrival gave me a bit of a laugh: ordered 3 x TT9008 and this is what came: I mean, the picker wasn't technically wrong but not what I was expecting having ordered several packs previously 😂 Had a good chuckle with customer services who asked me to email them a picture etc and they'd resolve.
LTSR_NSE Posted Thursday at 15:27 Share Posted Thursday at 15:27 2 Peco open wagons (Cadbury & Coleman’s) & Hornby BP/Shell tank. I much prefer the Hornby packaging - the (cellophane?) strap holding one of the Peco’s had come unstuck and the wagon was therefore rattling around inside the rigid plastic box. 😱 Fortunately by some miracle there was no actual damage & only a coupling had knocked adrift which clipped easily back into the pocket. 😇

I ordered my first Peco wagon from TMC today. And it still has a long journey ahead of it.🫣
LTSR_NSE Posted yesterday at 00:00 Share Posted yesterday at 00:00 My wagons came from TMC too, (can’t fault them) they wrapped & boxed the items very securely - hopefully your Peco wagon will arrive in perfect condition. 🤞🍀
GMD
I got one of the new 12T Shell/BP tankers - and yes they have absolutely nailed the previous issues with poor running. It now rolls perfectly freely. Nice one Hornby!
