  1. Might help if you saywhat you have.
  2. All buildings are different sizes so it is difficult to judge. The door size is the best guide but even that is not always right. Stations sometimes had enormous doors. My dad had an N gauge layout with a Superquick OO terminus station. It looked perfect.
  3. Don't think you'll have any luck, Traindriver hasn't been on here since June 2018.
  4. But did you search for rivet's. Been on there for a long time going by the amount sold and feedback.
  5. 81F I think this is what you need. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/S5100-x-6-Hornby-Triang-Tri-ang-Lima-spares-Rivets-I2A-/151418012150
  6. I used to replace them with a nut and bolt but I know that doesn't help you.
  7. I only asked because I never had a pickup break. Was I lucky?
  8. You just need a sound decoder. It is an ordinary decoder that also has sound. You will also need a speaker.
  9. Well well I learn something every day. 😆 I thought the seasons were included in the lockdown so it is still late winter early spring.
  10. I guess M-S was referring to something he sells. As it was 7 years ago he probably doesn't any more. I agree with your choice Barry.
  11. It isn't "jargon" it is the correct term for what is being discussed. Might be a good idea to read up on the subject to make things easier. 😉
  12. It is part X8407 not X8047 Peters Spares appears to have them.
  13. Can I ask how the pickups could snap?
  14. I can recommend a product called Tacky Wax, great for holding things in place but can be easily removed.
  15. I reckon it is just a case of using eBay to sell their stock. Instead of shopping around on line eBay is much easier with several retailers all in the same place. Looking at different web sites is fine if you have the time.
  16. Nearly finished then Duke 😆 Wish it was a bit nearer, would love to see it when completed.
  17. I think a base on figures looks awful. Just make sure the bottoms of the feet are nice and flat then glue or pin them on to the board. This is how I do it. /media/tinymce_upload/9ff44af7917974363c20dc9815d73220.jpg
  18. Clock references usually just refer to where the hour hand is on the hour. 3, 7, 12 etc.
  19. Mannick says very old photo and it certainly looks it. I reckon before Hornby got involved.
  20. Look out blue leader, bandits at 20 past 4. 20 past 4 but it's 15 hundred hours...........aaaarrrggghhh.
