  1. I bet, you’d require a microclapper which, luckily, are available from Microclappers-R-Us.
  2. Looks almost like the real thing HB, the figures are very realistic. 😉
  3. Not only gold plated running gear but a full sound decoder and real smoke and steam.
  4. R3738 new this year Eric. Number would have helped wouldn’t it. It’s the version that went to the USA.
  5. Wrong way round. He’s going from GWR to BR. Needs to remove buffer beam number and replace it with smokebox door number.
  6. The BR version had less lining on the cab sides. Didn’t go up around the windows. And less or even none on the cylinders.
  7. What you have said is pretty standard practice to those with a bit of experience. Newcomers might not have a clue 😆 As this post is fairly old hopefully the OP is now experienced. 😉
  8. I like that M-R. My black dock shunter was my pride and joy.
  9. Wax crayon would give it a bit of a greasy look.
  10. Nice BB. Shouldn’t the top of the third rail be sort of greasy black?
  11. Must be a Hall. King and Castle are four. Perhaps the B12 would be suitable.
  12. I’ll let you search for that.
  13. Lucky you. 😆 https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/shop/new-for-2019/tts-sound-decoder-britannia-class.html
  14. Oh flaming hell Jacob I shall try to not get involved in your posts.
  15. Jacob I said we had one a couple of pages back, explained what we used it for and the price.
  16. Jacob you said Alexa doesn’t work and doesn’t understand what you say to it and is expensive. That is not true. If you don’t have one and have only used a friends that is not a true test. They are an incredible gadget for very little money.
  17. Jacob once again you have criticised something you don’t own. We have an Alexa, cost £30 which is not expensive, works a treat. Plays music, great when we leave the dog on its own, acts as a timer, very useful, can access hundreds of radio stations, answers questions which means you wouldn’t have to say 'never heard of that' 😉, excellent and fun gadget.
  18. Persactly Chris. 😉 You said you have 4018 tracks in your glove box. Do you find they get jumbled up when you go round a corner too fast?
  19. I have 860 something CD's all downloaded onto a Brennan B2. I agree with Chris regarding MP3. I have MP3 ears so all is well.
