  1. One of these: W/media/tinymce_upload/4c82e726770eadf82d57b2f595657c3c.jpg
  2. Rob there's something not right about a tidy train room. It should be untidy like the real railway.
  3. Now if you were addressing me RAF, my answer would be that I wouldn't give a penny for an OO sound loco of any type. I really do think they sound aweful and are just a gimmick. However O gauge, particularly diesel, would be different. I wouldn't buy one but would certainly accept one as a gift. I do have an HO USA steam loco with sound but don't run it because I can't turn it off. The whistle is the only sound that is very good.
  4. Ah maybe so RAF but the address used to be on a link at the top of the forum so now it is hidden.
  5. If you want to suggest products go to Contact Us at the bottom of the page then select Product Suggestion add your details and suggestion. I'm pretty sure that any suggestions are ignored unless you use this form or the Wishlist section. People put suggestions in all sections of this forum, Thomas, Railmaster, General etc. and it would be unfair to expect Hornby to have to read all of them just to find one, especially as this is supposed to be for us not for them. Just my view. Good luck any way 😆
  6. Can you tell me if this is loco or tender driven. I still have quite a few Hall/Saint bits in a box somewhere and am always looking for bits to complete a loco. If loco driven I could look out for a body which would add to the choices I have for a restoration project. I don't think Hornby make tender drive locos any more. This is brand new from the Railroad Range.
  7. Modelmaster. Dead easy with GWR/WR you just stick them over the existing. I use UHU glue then you can remove them if necessary. It surprising how easy it is to make them crooked even after being extra careful. As my locos are BR the number on the front of WR locos goes on the smokebox door but on GWR is painted on the buffer beam. Bit more work involved there I guess. If you're feeling a bit more adventurous you can remove the old nameplate and replace it. Fox are also extremely good.
  8. It was Helmingham Hall when it arrived. It's a Railroad model and is very well detailed and the lining is excellent. Decided to change it to something a little bit more local and Kneller Hall was one of the places my dad loved to visit, went there many times with him, The Royal School of Military Music.

  10. I thought cat litter absorbed fluid then clumped for easy removal. If that is the case how will it be stuck down, not with a PVA/water mix obviously.
  11. Looks like John will have to buy a watering can then LC 😆
  12. You said there are pickups on all wheels but two have traction tyres. Bit unusual to have pickups on these as they are insulated from the track. Are they making the noise perhaps?
  13. Definitely sounds like the wheels are rubbing against the chassis or body.
  14. I tried cork after a trip in a liquidiser. Trouble is it floats on the glue. I'll stick to stone.
  15. They still make announcements and they're still inaudible so make your own and ensure you can't understand them.
  16. I think you new layout is better 2e0 even if you do have too many rivets on the tender. 😉
  17. I thought it looked funny but I knew you'd know I knew you knew. 😉
  18. As I hit reply I thought that's not right but it was too late. You know what I mean 😆
  19. Occasionally a real picture can spur you on to alter your layout.
  20. If your referring to 2e0's picture it was a bit of fun, like railway modelling, you know, a hobby, something to enjoy. 😆
  21. Nice modelling 2e0 but I'm afraid the tender has too many rivets. 😆
