  1. Did you know about any of these issues, when you purchased it, Puffed Out? If I had known about these faults, I don't think I would purchased it. If I didn't know about the faults, I think I would send it back for a refund. Also, I assume you purchased the Pendolino on eBay? For most items, I message the seller, just to clarify the condition before I bid / purchase. Looking at the pictures (Which sometmes faults are not visible or are missed), or reading the description does gaurantee the model to be fault-free. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  2. Cool. 😎 Does the kit come with two in the box, or you bought two kits, with one aeroplane in each kit? GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  3. Nice aeroplane, PC. Which scale is it? 😉 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  4. Also, viewing your original image on page 1, the wheel that the nut came off on, had the wheel out of alignment. I am unsure how this can be fixed. I am sure somebody on this forum will know how to repair this. I am sure on this forum, that you have mentioned that you have been to your local model shop, whom have repaired some of your models. If you are not able to repair your H Class, then I recommend bagging the parts and saving those and the locomotive, until we are out of lockdown. If your local model shop can do repairs, I would be surprised if they cannot repair this. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  5. Oh dear, I am sorry for my mistake. I thought the ship was Titanic. 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  6. Jimyjames, I am glad you have found the nut. That saves you buying the con rods spare parts pack. However, I do not recommend you use any of those pliers. I think you will find that you cause more damage by using them. The con rod nut spanner is what you need for the job, the correct size and shape and is made for the job. Pliers are not made for this type of repair. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  7. I was wondering the same Rob (RAF96). Perhaps 81F has got muddled up and thinks it's Bachmann model. It is 100% a Hornby model. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  8. Oh dear. I had this happen to my R9287 Thomas the Tank Engine, one time. If you are able to locate the nut, or buy a replacement con rod set, I also recoemmend you purchase Hornby R913 Con Rod Nut Spanner - Double Ended. If the con rod nuts were not tightend enough in the factory, then I have found that as the locomotive runs, the nut get looser and falls out. Equally however, lots of use can loosen the con rods too. I recommend you purchase R913. You may find some of your other locomotives, might need their con rod nuts tightened too. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  9. Yes, that worked. Thank you. 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  10. PC, you haven't got an iceberg nearby have you, otherwise your scale model of Titanic may sink! 😆 😉 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  11. That second hyperlink also does not work, HB. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  12. Hornby price is the RRP. Most model shops and retailers are able to sell the models below the RRP. I find that the RRP are always overpriced, as you can always get the models cheaper, providing of course you buy the model before the stock clears and the model is discontinued. Hatton's Model Railways have more than 10 in stock, for £89.00 each, plus postage. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  13. A very good acquisition of R3404, Jimyjames. Well done.Thank you for sharing with us, as to why it is special to yourself. Enjoy the locomotive. 😉 😀 GNR-Gorodn-4 (HF)
  14. Here is the latest edition of Hornby's blog, The Engine Shed: https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/news/the-engine-shed/ If you have any thoughts and . comments, please post them below. Thank you. 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  15. Great images everyone! 😉 😀 Ratch, which scale is the pirate ship? Thank you in advanced. 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  16. Those who recieved two copies, are supposed to send them or you can keep them and / do what you want with them; For example, recycle a copy or try and sell it, if one wanted to? GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  17. Oh, cool. A classic Batmobile. I like Batman. 😎 😉 😀 Do you own any other models of other modes of transport, belonging to Batman, Ratch? Batboat, Batwing or Batcopter, to name a few? GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  18. I haven't thought about that. Yes I will. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  19. You are very welcome, Ratch. 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  20. Well done Ratch. Looks good. What are you going to construct next? GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  21. Looking good, Ratch. You appear to be doing a bit a day. That savours the kit and extends it's build time over a period of many days, rather than opening the box sitting there until it's done and then you look for something else to do; Which involves not going out, due to the lockdown. GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  22. Mine did as well, but I am sure I have recieved four issues already and I have not renewed my membership for 2020. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  23. Great images everyone! Thank you all for posting. 😉 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  24. I've spotted the mistake. First image the locomotive is black; The second image the locomotive is green. They clearly are not the same locomotive at all. It's annoying when they do this to films, as the film production crew are too lazy to film something similar again and use a scene from another film and hope none of the viewers notice! 😆 😉 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
