  1. If they so tiny, why do the manufacturers not add a matching colour surround, of what around the detail it supposed to be adding, so the decal is just a little bit easier to apply? GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  2. Great images everyone and thank you all, for sharing them. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  3. Wow james_mower, you have been very busy! You have built and painted that ship and aeroplane, in just over one week?! Well done. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  4. OK, thank you for your confirmation. πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  5. I went back to your original post on page 1 and wow, what a lot of decals! 18 decals are a lot, now I have seen the decal sheet image again. I think decals are generally, are difficult to fit with success. I saw the image a few days ago, but I clearly didn't take in how many decals there are and the size of them. Sorry about this Ratch. πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  6. You don't deliberately break your kits and / or display scenes, do you? πŸ˜† πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  7. 18 decals does not sound like a massive amount. I am unsure why, but I was expecting you to tell me that are more than 18 of them. However, when you look at how small that aeroplane kit is, 18 decals is a lot for it. Is each individual red and white square on the wings, an individual decal? GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  8. That's not "a picture"! That's two pictures! πŸ˜† πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ Good images, nevertheless. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  9. ellocoloco, out of interest, which Hornby Thomas have you got? The latest version, R9287? GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  10. @Patrick Camilleri OK, thank you. πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  11. You must have loads of display scenes, Ratch. Where do you store it all?! πŸ˜† πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ Great pictures. πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  12. I still haven’t checked what the Airfix Kids Zone includes yet, but is this where the outlines of the aeroplanes are from? Over in the Hornby Kids Zone, there are outlines of some their OO gauge locomotives to be coloured in, either physically or digitally. I imagine the Airfix Kids Zone contains the same kind of thing, but with outlines of kits instead. GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  13. You are welcome, Ratch. πŸ˜€ How many decals are there, out of interest? GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  14. Wow, fantastic scene, Ratch. Good work and effort! πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  15. Are you going to run them, ir are you keeping the in the boxes, so they stay in new condition? GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  16. Great work, Ratch. keep it up! πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  17. I am talking about model railway locomotives, Rob, not the real life locomotives. I have two locomotives without front couplings. They are not misisng either, as both were bought brand new, by myself. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  18. Very nice, old models Assessor37. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  19. Great images, Ratch. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  20. Fantastic images everyone! πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  21. Thank you, old muddler. πŸ˜€ Realistically, locomotives that focus on passenger trains, do not really need a front coupling hook. It's in the way of enjoying the look of the locomotive and is rarely or never needed. Best if manufactuers leave it off the front and keep it fitted at the rear of the tender, as standard. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
  22. Pretty mediocre modeller and Ratch, great images! πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
  23. No they are not kits, Ratch. They are pre-made tankers, for my OO gauge model railway. @Pretty mediocre modeller I do not blame you, for doing some 'lockdown online shopping'! I have been doing that too. As humans, we need something to during this lockdown. We cannot going out, apart from to buy essentials, but they can't tell us to stay indoors with nothing to do! πŸ˜† πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ Great purchases. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
