Hello there, david_abramczyk. 😀 There is nothing wrong with Dapol tankers. As long as the Dapol tankers are OO gauge, then they will still couple to your other Hornby wagons. There is also nothing wrong with mix and matching locomotives and / or wagons from different model railway manufacturers, if this is what you are concerned about. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
@Ratch Yes, I do recognise the diorama layout. I was wondering if the aeroplanes were the same scale, as the other models are. GNR-G 😀rd 😀n-4 (My 600th post on the Airfix Forum! 😎 😉 😀)
@patrick Camilleri Yes, I can gathered that the world was space mad then, even though I did not exist in the 1960's! 😆 😉 😀 Thank you for the information. 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
You are welcome, Puffed Out. 😉 😀 By the sound of the condition of yours, they appear to be in better condition than yours is in though. I expect they are still in working order, or what's the point of the seller having them for sale? GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
You know what, I am generally surpised by this. I generally thought it was longer than 2006, when Hornby Hobbies purchased Airfix. Thank you for telling me this. I am very gald you have. 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
Look what I have found. Two different driving power chassis' by the seller. The 'No.2' listing, is for a driving dummy car, so I have not included that hyperlink: eBay - HORNBY CHINESE MADE VIRGIN PENDOLINO POWER DRIVING CAR CHASSIS ONLY - No.1 eBay - HORNBY CHINESE MADE VIRGIN PENDOLINO POWER DRIVING CAR CHASSIS ONLY - No.3 GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
They probably wouldn't want the addtional copy back Station Cat, due to the risk of Coronavirus. If anyone gets any duplicate magazines, which some members had, best to keep them, sell them or recycle them. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
I will be on the look out, on any website and if I see one, I will let you know in this thread. In the meantime, if you do purchase one, please let us know, so we can all abandon our looking outs! 😉 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
Ok, thank you for the addtional information. I aksed, as you did not make it clear if you knew about the issues or not. 😉 😀 I hope are able to find a decent chassis. I think you will have job finding one those. You might have to buy a donor a car, to the get chassis piece. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
@Ratch Is 2006, when Hornby Hobbies purchased the Airfix brand? @patrick Camilleri and @james_mower Nice oo gauge locomotives and / or rolling stock, both of you. Thank you both, for posting those images. 😉 😀 GNR-Gordon-4 (AF)
