nice build Dominic, I've got the VC set sat in my stash

they are nice builds wish i had the space to have this size

from what i have read is that 1/76 is the railway scale and airfix back in the day made a lot of kits to go with this such as buildings and all sorts of railway things including vehicles (and some of these are under the dapol name now) but since then 1/72 scale has become the standard size that manufactures have settled on for models. I read all of that because im helping my son build a model railway and he wants the airfix buildings to build and put on it hence finding out that dapol now have some of the moulds for these, but i am still reading and learning in this area so what i have learnt now could all change ☹️

that's a great build ratch enjoyed watching and reading this, i wish i had the space for this size model as i really like the shark mouth on aircraft and this one has tempted me but sadly no space found for it yet 😁

for me its WWII but i do have some jets and WWI aircraft

that looks good like the shade of blue you have used on it

this to me looks like the AEC its refueling a MKII spitfire at a otu and is sort of a tan colour and no camouflage

that's a nice build and a great little diorama setting

its an impressive set, you need some space for all of them

that's a nice finish on it Randall, 16 more yellow tails would make an impact all together but for me its the nose art that i get drawn to first.

i do like the defiant its a bit strange looking in real life, think you have done a great job with this

a great finish the underside does look nice with the decals on

when i got back into model making i bought a job lot of paints most were Humbrol enamels some of which were the much old discontinued colours and ive got more tins out of the older sets I've bought over time and picked up a few Revell tins these mostly sit in draws out of the way, now i mainly use acrylic paints a lot of them are the small Humbrol pots out of starter sets I've got a few Revell acrylics and some sets of Vallejo model air sets.

no its the WWII RAF Bomber re-supply set, ive got another bomber set in my stash, its a great set to do not started the bombs or bomb trolleys yet.
