  1. Having just finished the Airfix Banshee, I quite fancy another. I would love to see this kit and a few more made available again. Maybe these could be made available again in the Classic Kit packaging? Banshee. DHC Beaver BAC 1-11 1/144 Trident 1/144 F-27 Friendship in original Airfix Aer Lingus scheme. OV 10 Bronco Hovercraft SR-N1 Fairey Firefly Hawker Demon Douglas Skyraider BAC Strikemaster Ships Leander Class Frigate Type 21 Frigate County Class Destroyer Manxman Tiger Daring If the old tools are still around, the old 50's and 60's Cars in 1/32. There are still some that I never had. I'm guessing that these old kits would sell nicely. I would think that we are going to see a lot of Battle of Britain kits back with new artwork for the 80th Anniversary of The Battle. I do hope that the superb new tool Hurricane appears with a metal wing option.

    Banshee?

The Airfix Banshee, for some reason, quite escaped me. I would really like to see this model reissued in line with the new Airfix Classics Range. I think that it would be a good seller.
  3. I was very happy with the 2019 releases. The Bucc in 1/72nd and Tiger Moth in 1/48th will fill in a gap. Many of the rereleased aircraft models will suit me very well, thanks. Quite a few of my wishes have come true from Airfix over the last couple of years. As for 2020, still hoping for these. 4. Some PVA Glue is soluable after it has set. This is the Interior stuff. The Outdoor stuff stays set. I think that one is acetate and another alchohol, but we would need a chemist to confirm the differences correctly. The Indoor version allows modellers to soak it off in case you need to change things. This is good when you are using it to ballast model railway tracks.
  5. I suppose that I'd like to see the following . . . Hurricane I in 1/72nd. The metal winged version, please, to go with the superb Fabric Winged kit. Hurricane I in 1/48th. The Fabric Winged version of the excellent new issue. I need loads of the above. 1/72nd scale figures for the RAF Bomber Command Support Set. Hard plastic. Hunter F6 in 1/72nd. It would be lovely to issue this in the original versions for the 60's kit. Black Arrows and Swiss Air Force. A few replacements, too. All old 1/72nd kits. Hampden. / Halifax. / P-47D / Hellcat. Plus a brand new Vulcan B2. I'm hoping that the latter is the big announcement for 2019 at Telford. I'm hoping that the 1/600 ships appear in the classic releases.
  6. Both would be very nice. I have just been rebuilding these old Airfix kits that were hiding in the shed. I really enjoyed the rebuild and was lucky to have nearly all the parts in the spares box. More can be seen here . . https://www.flickr.com/photos/23594891@N07/albums/72157697042536945
  7. The latest was the new Airfix Wellington, though I have just ordered some new boxings of a number of Airfix releases. One was the Martlet. The more I look at this kit, its superb tooling and its mass of alternate parts, I reckon that it is my highest scoring kit of all time. That's pretty good going when you judge it against the other releases. Scores full marks on detail, ease of build, value for money, some great schemes and those alternative parts for posing the wings out and folded. My stash is decidedly Red these days. Looking forward to getting some nice new 1/48th releases soon. Hunter and Blenheim.
  8. I would probably have a couple. BEA and Midland liveries appeal. There are very many more. It would be the best of civil aircraft to do in this scale, though a BAC 1-11 and Trident would make fine additions to the range, too.
  9. The kit issued from Eastern Europe looked so much like the Airfix kit that I had, I thought it had used the same tool. I'll certainly buy a couple of these, if released. A very clean and sharp tooling.
